I don't know much about GlimmerXP. Neither do most people; he has just under 1,300 monthly listeners on Spotify. I found him off Craig Xen's recommend artists page. He has one full-length album titled Glimmer & Friends that contains 14 tracks and has lots of features from other unknown artists.
His aesthetic is very much late 90s to early 00s teen culture, and specifically related to anime and video games. When I first played his most popular track, "Super Splash Bros," my interest was slightly piqued but I passed it off quickly. However... I found myself thinking of it several days later, and coming back to it. Now, it's on rotation. The instrumental makes incredible use out of samples from Super Smash Bros Melee, the very popular Nintendo GameCube game. Character screams, attack effects and item sound splices are splashed together to create a medley of high-energy fun. The vocals are also great, with the melody pitched to fit and contrast with the timbre of the voice at various points, slowing and speeding up the tempo. If you grew up playing Smash Bros and you enjoy video game beats, I'd recommend it. Listen to it here: https://open.spotify.com/track/2M0SeErsJbDh5m3EgMh42Q
